Tommy Lee Parker was born, raised and lived in the DeSoto community in Clarke County, MS.  He attended Quitman School and was a mechanic by trade.  Tommy Lee loved to race cars and won many titles including a state championship.  He was always found watching a NASCAR race on TV and was a faithful Dale Sr. fan.  Tommy Lee spent many years raising and showing horses.  He was also a member of the Desoto Volunteer Fire Department and carried his radio with him everywhere to make sure he didn’t miss a call.  He was a lover of the outdoors and any kind of hunting, especially ‘coon hunting.  According to his wife Paulette, he spent a lot of money on ‘coon dogs and guns.
Tommy Lee’s greatest legacy was the love he had for his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who called him Papa.  He was hardly ever seen without a little sidekick tagging along behind him.  He always had a silly song to sing to his grandkids to put a smile on their face, in fact, Tommy Lee could put a smile on almost anyone’s face.  He could always be found riding up and down the road checking on friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents:  Christina Gray and Searcy Lee Parker, one brother Ronnie Joe Parker (passed away shortly after birth), and one great-granddaughter Darla Mae Sparrow.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Paulette Fox Parker; three sons, Ronnie Joe Parker (Janna), Tracy Lee (Tina), Steven Lee (Becky); siblings, Bo Parker, Ann Lenard, Jackie Fox, and Kenny Parker (Alisha); grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Jason Lee (Heather), LaShane Sparrow (Michael), Garrett Lee (Claire), Gage Parker, Shana Lee, Reed Parker (Alex); and 13 great grandchildren.
