Rev. Donald Campbell, 74, of Quitman, MS, passed away on September 2, 2017, at H.C. Watkins Hospital in Quitman, MS.
He was born on March 13, 1943, to John and Estelle (Marlow) Campbell in Desoto, MS.
Brother Donald was a retired minister that served in the Clarke, Wayne and Choctaw County Alabama areas. He served Clarke County, MS, as a constable and auxiliary deputy for several years. Donald was also a successful businessman that operated several businesses during his life.
Donald is survived by his wife, Linda Campbell; daughter, Rebecca (Matt) Garner; brother, Billy Ray Campbell; sister, Doris Evans; grandson, Caleb Garner; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Campbell; mother, Estelle Campbell; one sister, and four brothers.
Pallbearers are Matt Garner, Caleb Garner, Eugene Boles, Michael Carroll, Ryan Evans, and Tim Evans. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Ray Evans, James Evans, Donald Ray Jordan, Rusty Odom, and Clarke County Law Officers.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 4, 2017, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, and Tuesday, September 5, after 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Coats, Rev. Grady Crowell, Rev. Dwight Smith, officiating. Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
